Kiran is a Chief Scientist & CTO at KoreConX, leading the strategy & development of an AI-based blockchain platform for tokenizing securities in the global private capital markets. In his latest book, AI+Blockchain: A Brief Guide for Game Changers (with a foreword by Vint Cerf, co-founder of the Internet), he describes the synergy between artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain, offering ideas and practical advice for adopting these technologies.

Kiran is the principal founder, developer, and chief curator of iKnowCentral, an AI-based platform for digital asset curation, and a co-founder of CognitiveWorld.com, a knowledge hub and ecosystem for cognitive computing. His is a member of the board of advisors at MidMarket Alliance and Qlytix, where he is helping them implement a midmarket center of excellence, incorporating AI, machine learning, data analytics, and blockchain technologies.

Kiran has a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence & machine learning from the University of Florida, focused on the application of machine learning algorithms to address principal-agent problems in economics.

Previously, he was a Global CIO & Chief Architect for a General Electric company, and a Vice President & Chief Evangelist for BPM at Software AG.

At GE, Kiran facilitated the growth of the P&L from $2.2B in 2001 to $14.0B in 2006. At Software AG, he supported the business development of a $100M practice and provided consulting services and thought-leadership to senior-level executives.

Over a period of 30 years, he has provided management consulting expertise to over 100 companies in 20 countries in strategy, enterprise architecture, business process management, governance, and in building centers of excellence. He has worked with standards and reference architectures such as APQC, COBIT, CMMi, Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, PMO, Balanced Scorecards, BMC, TOGAF, etc.

Kiran's career accomplishments include management of over $120 million in project & functional budgets, facilitating $2.19 billion of business initiatives, and delivering quantifiable benefits of over $439 million (137% annualized ROI).

Kiran is certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT, from ISACA), Six Sigma (from GE), Change Acceleration Program (from GE), BankCard Management (from the American Banking Association), Domain Engineering (from the Software Engineering Institute, Carnegie Mellon University), and Data Science courses from Johns Hopkins (through Coursera).

He is the author of a business novel, The Power of Process: Unleashing the Source of Competitive Advantage, and a co-author of BPM Basics for Dummies (translated into German, French, Spanish, and Japanese). His books have been adopted as supplemental reading texts for MBA/EMBA curricula at various universities worldwide.

Kiran has written numerous articles and blogs (including six publications in academic proceedings). A highly-regarded speaker, he has delivered over 40 keynote and conference presentations, press interviews, executive Masterclasses, and consultative relationship sessions in over 20 countries.
